Benefits of learning on the go
Offline mode
- Download lessons in advance to learn a language anytime - even when you don't have an internet connection.
Vocabulary trainer - Review your vocabulary while you're on the bus or tube. Repeat the words you've already learnt or practice the new ones.
Written exercises - It's your chance to get corrections from native speakers. When you have a spare minute, complete as many exercises as possible and improve your language skills.
Plan your time
Make sure you have a schedule for learning a language. By setting up half an hour each day (or at least 10 mins), you will make progress much faster and see the results.
Set yourself a target
By setting targets, you can easily track your progress. For example, you want to finish A1 by next month or you promise to learn 100 new words in 2 weeks.
Repeat
Don't forget to look through the content you've already learnt. Repeat words, use them as many times as possible and try to form new sentences with them.
Easy and fun
Explore a variety of situations when you could use the Busuu app:
- when you're waiting for your friend;
- commuting to work;
- standing in a queue.
Find your perfect situation!
Dictionary
Download as many dictionaries as possible so you can get more exposure to different words, phrases and idioms (examples in context or topic-specific vocabulary).
Motivation
Special calendars, flashcard apps and a timer could motivate you to learn faster and more efficiently. Don't forget to turn on push notifications and be focused!
Calendar
Schedule 10 minutes a day in your calendar (or one hour per week) and follow the plan. This will motivate you to keep learning. Try not to miss your study times.
