What do you do in class?

What do you usually do the day before an exam?

I'm too old (70) to sit for an exam now. I am not sure if I must be happy or not. :))) If I was young (I really would like it) and if I had to take an exam, what do you think I would make ? Absolutely nothing because I would have worked really very hard at my studies during the schoolyear, of course. (yes, you can believe me ;-) ) That's why I wouldn't have anything more to do the day before my exam. I could relax, listen to some beautiful music, go to the cinema or go to see an exhibition of paintings of Dali for an example, but maybe I would prefer to spend the evening with a handsome boy. Nothing better to relax, what do you think ? :)

Hi Nicole, I hope all goes well with you !

I'm too old at 70 to sit an exam now and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not ! If I was young, which would be nice, and if I had to sit an exam, what do you think I might have to do ?  Well, I'll tell you - it would be absolutely nothing at all because , believe me, I would have worked very hard at my studies throughout the school year. So, instead of doing revision, I could relax and listen to some beautiful music, go to the cinema or perhaps go to an art gallery to look at paintings, maybe those of Dali.On the other hand, perhaps I would rather spend the evening with a handsome man ! Nothing beats relaxation !  What do you think ?

Chuck in  ( = throw in ) a handsome man and I'm with you all the way !  :-)

"  That's why I wouldn't have to do anything more the day before the exam. "   = you have already fully given the reason why this is so in the preceding sentence  ( the sentence before this one )  so you don't need to re-state it.

Once again, well done !

Hi Mary, thank you for your help. :-)) I'll find a second handsome man for you and we'll have fun. ;-)))

En ce qui me concerne, les travaux de rénovation ne sont pas terminés, il reste à finir la salle de bain... et la cuisine (mais ce sera pour 2012). A bientôt.

Not sure about an evening with a nice boy being relaxing! though hopefully enjoyable
