I don't do anything special in Halloween because it is not a traditional celebration where I live. But in rural areas there is a similar tradition, in the "Samaín", people make a pumpkin with holes simulating a face and a lighted candle inside. It comes from an ancient Celtic tradition in the begining of the Celtic New year, the 31st on October, when the winter starts and the summer finishes. In this date, the souls of the close relatives return at home and have dinner during the night. It is a traditional tribute to death people, to love ones. And now, in everywhere, the celebration to death love ones is two days later, the 2nd on November, the day of the Death, and people don´t prepare their dinner, they bring them flowers to the cementeries.
