I choose to talk about the second picture : the melting of the ice caps. For example : the extent of Arctic ice is one of the important elements for the regulation of the thermostat temperature of our planet. This extent decreased to its reached its lowest level since the beginning of satellite observations in 1972. These results are based on observations of NASA's Aqua satellite, and they are confirmed by with another report of the observation center of snow and ice (NSIDC). According to the two teams of scientists the melting of sea ice proves the importance of human impact on climate in recent decades. The melting of ice has environmental and social consequences : It's causes changes in ocean and atmospherical currents, it increases the release of pesticides and other persistent organic pollutants in the atmosphere, and it causes changes and difficulties in the way of life for of indigenous animal species.
