I live in Austria and here we have many mountains, rivers, lakes and forests. I live in the vienna-forest and on weekend we like to go hiking. In winter I like our mountains very much, because we can go skiing. In summer I like our lakes, because I like to go sailing. I like the geography of Austria very much, it's wonderful to spend the holidays.

Just a small point to note, I would say ..

At the weekend if it refers to just one weekend, or on the weekends if it refers to every weekend.
