With "finish" I wanted to say, you finish before of fix your problem if you go in person to the their offices than if you call them by phone... mmm... I'm not sure if now is clearer or worse :- You finish the call ( phone call) without resolving the problem . ( to resolve -- resolvar?) Then, if you go to their offices ..... Mejor? Glynis |

It depends ON the kind of call... NormalLy when I MAKE A call to anyplace to ask something, I always use the word "please"... hello, could I to speak with Maria, please?... and I'M ALWAYS POLITE... including the calls that I receive TO ANSWER a questionnaire, I try to KEEP my patience, because I understand that this person that IS callING me, is a worker and IS only DOING his/her JOB... and in MOST cases of THESE callERS, THEIR JOB DEPENDS ON IT... it's a pity!... but I am FED UP WITH THESE calls!!!!... They always call when you are eating or at night, when you are in YOUR pyjamaS and you only want to rest... at this moment IT is ALWAYS a little difficult to answer thESE TYPES of calls... on the other hand, although I think OF the worker, also I cannot remove FROM my head that their bastard boss obligateS them to work like this (sorry for the expression, I haven't got habit to use it, but I cannot avoid thinkING it)... Also, most companies want that we repair all our problems by telephone... and there are companies that work well, but otherS, it's impossible to conect with them, I don't know why they give you a number, if you have a problem... sometimes IT'S JUST EASIER if you go to their office... ah no!! the office doesn't exist!!... bad luck!!!... at that moment you want to SLIT YOUR WRISTS!!! or to cut the head OFF someone!!! hahaha... I remember when I was a child, I went some days to a town near my house (it's a long history), the case is, that I called my mother ON THE only phone in the building, the phone of my neighbor Adela, this is a good memory of the use of THE telephone... the rest I cannot tell you, because already this exercise is very long to be corrected BY you... thanks... Great!! Well Done kristal, wish my Spanish was as good! |

It depends on of the kind of call... Normally when I call a particular person or company to ask something, I always use the word "please"... Hello, could I speak with Maria, please?... and I am habitually nice... including these calls that I receive to answer questionnaires. I try to maintain my patience, because I understand that this person who is calling me is a worker, and is only trying to do their job... and in many cases, the success of their call can determine whether he/she can keep their job... it's a pity!... but I sometimes pull my hair out with these calls!!!!... Since they always seem to call when you are either eating, or at night when you are in your pyjamas and you only want to rest... During these times it is a little difficult to answer these kind of calls... on the other hand, although I am thinking of the worker, I cannot get out my head that their bastard boss obligates them to work like this (sorry for the expression, I don’t normally use it, but I cannot avoid thinking it)... Also, most companies prefer that we solve all of our problems by telephone... and there are some companies for which this process works very well, but with others it's impossible to contact them. I don't know why they give you a number to call if you have a problem... sometimes they cut you off before you finish talking, or, if you try to contact their office... Oh no!! The office doesn't exist!!... Bad luck!!!... At that moment you want to cut your wrists!!! Or cut the head off someone!!! Hahaha... I remember when I was a child, I went for a few days to a town near my house (it's a long story) The point is that I called my mother, but the telephone that I called was the only phone in the building- the phone of my neighbour Adela. This is a good memory of the use of the telephone... the rest I cannot tell you, because this exercise is too lengthy already to be corrected by you... Anyway...Thanks. |
