At the hotel

When you travel, do you usually stay at a hotel or do you prefer another type of accommodation?

I prefer a five-star hotel. but I can't pay it always so I chose to spend my holiday in a camping or with the family.

I prefer a five-star hotel. but I can't pay it always afford to stay in a five star hotel so I chose(choose) to spend my holiday in a camping park or with the family.
