I don't write a shopping list, so I usually forget something. When I go to the supermarket I normally buy: milk, rice, butter, pasta, cheese,oil,tins, beer, some cleaning products and above all chocolate.
Once a week I like going to the market and I buy there: meat, fish, fruits and vegetables.

Once a week I like going to the market where I buy Excellent! There is indeed no plural for fruit - only "fruits of his labour". You know English is not a very logical language and as far as I know they use "when" if you descibe something what really happened ("when I came back yesterday") and they use the combination "if ... then" for things like your/my shopping list. The English call it "Conditionals", the Germans "Bedingung wenn - dann". But I remember to have seen some exceptions and it might be that the English say, "oh, 'when' is correct, because you do it normally and you don't make it dependent from the first car you see on a road and if it rains at the same moment". LOL |

Ich denke nicht das man "if" in diesem Fall sagt. WELL DONE!!!:))) |
