Salut, la correction précédente est correcte. Voici, une autre façon de dire la même chose, mais un peu plus familier. Regarde!

It (The answer) is simple, a friend of mine hooked me up (into my last job).

Je ne connais pas d'équivalent en français pour le verbe à particule to hook (sb) up (into sth), mais en espagnol, on dit enchufar ou enganchar. J'espère ça sert.
