I rarely read newspapers because I think that Spanish press is pretty side-taken: newspapers always support one party, and it's easy to notice which one by just reading the headlines. I don't like it at all and I always try to red international press. Furthermore, my mother is a translator and my brother is studying to become a languages teacher, so there are always English, German, French, American, Portuguese and sometimes Italian newspapers and magazines at home -it looks like a newspaper library.
However, sometimes (most likely on weekends) I buy newspapers by my own because of its cultural suplements, certain articles non-related to politics or just because of its comic strips.

Very interesting and very few mistakes! It sounded very natural. Great! Perhaps I would change the phrase "side-taken" to "biased" as it can be confusing.
