Have a look at this website on YouTube. Listen to the phrases and see if you can write the phrases down!
What do you think? It it useful?
There are few mistakes like in "Nice to meet you.". Of course literally in Polish it means "Miło Cię spotkać" (meet - spotkać) but in this sentence it means "Miło Cię poznać" (Nice to meet you < first time meeting)
We don't use sentences like "How are You?". This is not that we don't care :) This is just so fake.
We also don't talk "Jest dziesiąta godzina." (It's ten o'clock) we talk "Jest dziesiąta." i think.
All other things like that in Polish "Excuse me" and "I'm sorry" are the same sentences. "Przepraszam"
Overall good but including "Kocham Cię" (I love You) as most used expression is funny :)))
It seems to me that the phrase suggested by the author on the site - the most common. But if a person does not understand and can not begin to talk, it's okay if he responds "Jest dziesiąta godzina"
You're absolutely right. Polish language is very generous of a various sentences.
Co powiedzieć w odpowiedź na komplement albo cieple słowa? Zwykłe „dziękuję” nie zawsze wystarcza, by wyrazić wdzięczność.
Thank you! I will go see.
Przepraszam...I have a question and don't see how to write a new message :(
