Being just a friend is different from being girl /boy friend. Girl/boy friends share love beside all others.

I don't think that love is an issue here. I love my friends, and I love my girlfriend too. Of course, we are talking about different kinds of love; not about degrees of love, though.

The main differences I can see are sex and romance. Apart from that, I don't think I love my friends less than my girlfriend.
