Useful and fun website for learning Polish

Hi Localo

Thankyou for your message! As you will see from my profile I am still working my way through the course for the first time having completed units A1 and A2 and now half way through B1. A friend of mine has already completed the entire course but I suggested to her that she might start from the beginning and do they all again if it is possible. I think there are words and phrase that you will easily forget if you do not use them on a regular basis so by repeating the course it would be like doing a 'refresher' course! Of course you can supplement what you have learned on Busuu with other online courses or audio/books available from the internet. Also, you might find something on YouTube - although I don't think there is a lot of really useful material. For me, I think another thing I can do is to start reading Polish text and trying to translate into English. I am also hoping to join a Polish class in the New Year. Having someone to talk to on Skype might also be helpful - have you considered this? You and a friend could agree a simple script for a conversation and communicate that way - if nothing else, it might be a laugh.

Maybe other members of the group might come up with a suggestion? C'mon you lot...let's make this group more active with some useful conversations!!

Hope this helps?

Regards

Paul

LocaLo,yes--I am doing that, especially as I had to be gone a while!  I move to a next lesson, then repeat the one before.

Also, here is another good site for grammar.  He goes into a lot of detail--it helps explain some of the intricacies of the language:
