I think that books can not be replaced by anything else. Holding a quality made book in hands, admiring a wonderful font, touching coated paper and calmly, alone following the lives of characters - what can be better?

Well, have you read "451 Fahrenheit" by R. Bradbury? Actually, this topic is discussed there. In my mind, in the coming 10 years the people will return to reading paper books for many reasons.

E-books will possibly become holographic. What do you think about it?

Holographic book is a bad idea worse then e-book. I think.

Rey Bredbery is a great novelist. I read his book "The best of times". Do you read this book?

That may be the case in most places, but the fashion of reading has crumbled in places like the UK and the States, where it is easier to read a book online, or on an ipod or iPhone. Books are slowly becoming less and less popular.

Thank you for your answer.

I say it like Francis Bacon (Philosofer):

Books are ships which rush through the wide seas of the time.
