Always write in sentences Nurzhami.
A sentence always begins with a capital letter and usually ends with a full stop.
Let me show you:
Hello everyone! My name is Nurzhami. I am from Kazahstan. I like to spend time with my friends and go to the cinema. I do not like rock music. I want to join your group.
You are very welcome to be oin our group Nurzhami! :
It is very nice to meet you.
I shall be very glad to help you.
my name is Isabel and my native language is German;)) I've learned English at grammar school 38 years ago, and now I sit in an FCE-course and hope to get my certification in December 2013. I never thought that learning and practising the English language would be so diffucult;)) You can't translate in the direct way.
So it would be nice, if you correct me. That's the way to learn!!!
I live in Germany and I speak 3 other languages, I don't like housework, too. I don't like seafood, but I like all fruits and vegetables. I also like foreign dishes and I like listening to different types of music.
I'm divorced and I live together with my grown up daughter.
And now I'm waiting for your answer;)) (Correction)
Welcome to our group. :)
My name is Isabel and my native language is German. *I learned English at Grammar School thirty eight years ago and now I will sit an FCE course and hope to get my certificate in December 2013. I never thought that learning and practising the English language would be so difficult. :)) You cannot translate in the direct way.
* You learned English thirty eight years ago - this is in the past, so you use the past tense.
'I have learned...' is the present perfect tense; 'have' is the present tense of 'have
*It would be nice if you correct me, that's the way to learn!!
I live in Germany and I speak *three other languages.
I don't like housework. I don't like seafood, but I like all fruit and vegetables. I also like foreign dishes and I like listening to different types of music.
I'm divorced and live with my grown up daughter. (You do not need 'together.')
*Now I'm wating for your answer.;)) Correction)
** You should not begin a sentence with 'so' and 'and' as these are conjunctions or joinng words. They are used to join words, clauses and phrases:
My friend gets too noisy at parties, so he is never invited to any.
The children were very good and ate al of their dinner so they were allowed to watch tv.
The word 'so' before a reason or result of some action.
It s meaning is 'therefore'.
Therefore :) you can either omit 'so' at the beginning of a sentence and substitute 'therefore'; or you can just begin the sentence with the word after 'so' if it flows with the sentence.
salt and pepper; hot and cold water. The boy ran too quickly and tripped over the cat.
Again, you can either leave 'and; out altogether and write two short sentences or leave 'and in only in the lower case. It depends on the sentence and which is more appropriate.
I'm sorry this is so late!
I hope it helps.
thank you for your help. It doesn't matter that it was "late". English is really not easy!!!
I hope that I will get it once;))
Wish you all the best.
