Learn russian with me =)
Welcome to the group :) I hope you will find something interesting or helpful here.
To be honest, I learn Russian most everyday ;) Currently, I'm stuck in the verb conjugations as I can't find any simple way (or algorithm) to conjugate them. Luckily, as a Russian native speaker, I know the correct endings. But I can't understand how neurons in my brain speech center conjugate these terrible Russian verbs ;) Maybe someone can help me? ;)
And thanks for the link :) I've even found news on Belorussian elections there o_O
Здравствуйте. Mеня зовут Мегха. Thats all I can do till now. Btw I am from India, and I have done my studies in english literature. And I am really interested in learning Russian. I heard some people speak it and truly I fell in love with the mere sound :). So I hope all of you can help me.

Hello Megha :)
Welcome to our group. I hope you will find something interesting or helpful here.Good luck with your Russian studies!
We say Zdorovo)))
"Здорово!" (with the emphasis on the second syllable здорОво!) is a familiar greeting in Russian, only for people you know well. It's not for greeting women, even if you know them well, or even intimate. Only for men. I can't say that it's offensive - just "masculine" greeting :) Sometimes it is shortened to "даров!" in oral speech (substandard).
Hi everyone. My name is Jordan, and I'm from Canada. I'm a second year history major at university. The reason I'm interested in learning Russian is because I'm actually studying primarily Russian history, and it's a valuable skill to have for reading Russian historical documents without the need for a translator. I already have a strong grammatical and linguistics backing (I've studied Latin formally, and continue to do so - its my minor), and so I'm interested in learning about the grammar behind Russian in a relatively formal way.
This group looks like it will be a valuable resource, and I'm excited about using this and the website as a whole. At this point, learning Russian is really just a hobby, but in a few months, when school is out for the summer, I'm going to turn it into a major goal.
Welcome to the group :) I am keen on Russian grammar, so we can help each other out ;) I would be grateful for any comments or concerns you may have.
