My name is libao,I am from china ,I am working ,my job is statistical,I don't like my job because it's so bored.Meanwhile,it is doesn't make me progress,Please help me? give me some advice, thank you .
Hi Sir Libao. I am Laurence from the Philippines. From the list of letters I finally, landed on your concerned work. To begin with, I am a graduate of Law but my course is so not commensurate to the jobs in the Philippines since most are on manual jobs and vocaional courses. Also, entering the government arena to apply for work here is quite diffcult even after passing the qualifying exams and interviews. For short, in our place, backer most likely helps. Now, going to your concern, you say your work in "statistical" is boring and that burdens you. My note to this problem is simple, check on other jobs that will not make you mechanical or routinary, but in while looking stay in your boring work in the meantime. Another suggestion is, put life in your work by reading on the advantages of doing statistcal work. In that way, you may appreciate your job. Lastly, look for an outlet, all jobs are routinary since you will end up mastering it one way or the other, go fishing, visit the beautiful nature spots in your place, enroll in painting, among others. The point is, have an outlet to help you start a better work-morning in your office. Hope I have helped you Sir Libao. More power and enjoy life....
A pleasant day to you, Libao.
I write from Quezon City, Philippines, and I recently signed up for free Spanish lessons. I would like to give you some advice to help you relieve some of the boredom from your job.
You mentioned that your field lies in Statistics. If you find it boring, maybe it's because (a.) there aren't enough challenges in the daily tasks (or duties) that you do, or (b.) you have already mastered the basics (i.e. skills and competencies required) of your job that it's time for you to learn new skills.
You joined Busuu because you are trying to learn to communicate better in English. You already made a wise decision. Now, how can you use this in your job?
You can also ask someone (maybe an expert, a teacher, or a tutor) to mentor you. Show a willingness to learn.
I hope I was able to help.
