There are many manifestations of desertification in the Arab world:
1-Sand encroachment on oases and agricultural and residential areas by the wind.
2-Dry eyes, rivers and wells.
3-Hardening and cracking of the soil due to the severity of the drought.
4-The loss of soil organic matter and minerals.
5-High salinity in the soil.
