Adventure sports

Just have a look at the wild animals. The males behave rather stupidly silly, when they want to gain the favour of the females. They decorate themselves with coloured feathers or they perform the wildest dances. That’s both dangerous and energy consuming. According to Darwin’s law Theory ( I'm sure you know that a "Law" in science is one which has been proven to the complete satisfaction of the scientific community, based on empirical evidence and repeatable experiments. Otherwise, depending upon the degree of proof or agreement it is either a "Hypothesis" [unproven] for example, "Avogadro's Hypothesis" or a Theory [largely proven and widely accepted] such as Darwin's ) of the Survival of the Fittest they should have no chance. However what they demonstrate is: “Look here I’m strong. I can afford it.” The female becomes weak and the silliest male succeeds. Young men (and not only young ones) jump form from bridges with no more than a thin rubber rope holding them or they glide on their backside down a water cascade, when they want to impress a woman. That’s dangerous and energy consuming. However the women think: “He is strong and he can afford it.” So they melt like butter in the sun and the silliest succeeds. You think that’s ridiculous? Not at all – it just shows that we are part of the nature. Otherwise we were would be really boring.

Great work Ulrich, and I agree, a lot of men take part in adventure sports to try to impress women and a lot of women are duly impressed ..... There's no accounting for taste!!!
