"The disease that she has worsened." - "it" é usado para objetos, coisas ou animais. Como no exercício você se refere a uma pessoa do sexo feminino deve usar "she".

"Show-off" é mais usado para a ação de se mostrar, não necessariamente um sentimento ou estado de espírito, como sugere o exercício. Nesse caso você pode usar "cocky" (metido, pretensioso). :)
