The universe is a fascinating subject because it is so vast, that there is almost no way for a human to really understand it. As astronomers study it more and more deeply, people know more and more about the universe, but nobody really knows if we really understand everything.
Here is a thought I read online:
Some scientists describe the universe as, "it was hot when it was young; it will be cold when it grows old". When it is cooling down there won’t be any usable energy. These scientists predict that the universe will be end with the Big Freeze.
This sounds reasonable but I think the ending will come first for humans, animals and plants on the earth or on some other planets if there is any life there; the universe will still be there, but just in different condition. Who knows?

Some editors would say, "...nobody knows whether we really understand everything."
