Friend is subject, you must not use a pronoun (he) as a subject of the same verb (is) like you do in your own language. man is a noun and young is an adjective, so you cannot join them with and, and is used to join two nouns, or two verbs or two adjectives: My friend and my sister come home together (friend, sister = nouns) My friend will go and buy some bread (go, buy = verbs) My sister is nice and sweet (nice,, sweet = adjectives) If you use short to describe a person it is a bit despective: it sounds better to say : He is not tall Thank you for reading my medieval exercise.
