Former Israeli PM faces further corruption charges

http://www.euronews.net/ Former Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, who is already on trial over corruption allegations is now facing further charges. It is alleged that he accepted bribes during his time as Mayor of Jerusalem in the 1990s. The new accusations relate to the construction of the Holyland towers, an enormous luxury apartment complex on a Jerusalem hilltop. It is claimed the equivalent of millions of euros changed hands to secure planning permission for the building.

The former Israeli Prime Minister was disliked for his alleged immoral behaviour. Corruption must be challenged in all coutrries.

I don't like that he was accused ot taking bribes, when he was a mayor.   I think that every country must fight corruption.

If you intended irony or sarcasm, then you could say, "I like that he was accused of taking bribes...."   That would be like saying, "It serves him right, that he was accused...."
