* Mr. John. The email name is John.Smith.  His name is Mr Smith, NOT Mr John.  Busuu has this wrong!!

 

*Ms. Brown.  The email name is N. Brown.  Her name is Nataly Brown, ie.  Ms Brown, not Ms Nataly.

 

*can't/cannot - in a formal letter, do not use abbreviations.

** In a formal letter, do not explain.

In formal situations, the language and conventions are often very different. Your husband's birthday is NOT IMPORTANT to a company.  You are supposed to put the company FIRST.  So in this kind of letter, you are playing a game!
