Many years ago, I was at Gran Canaria. The hotel was three stars and it was very old. The room was awful, the food was very bad, but the staff was really kind. Afortunately, I only was there for four days, the eastern holidays. So, if you travel to anywhere, it's better to pay a bit more for a good hotel.

Probably the same one I was in. :-) Did you have hake every day in a different coloured sauce? |

Gracias por la corrección. Esto fue hace muchos años y no recuerdo muy bien los detalles, pero hace dos años estuve en Tenerife, el hotel era bueno (Playacanaria) y también hacían lo que tú dices, un día merluza a la romana y al siguiente en salsa verde, etc. Cuando estás tres días en el hotel, la comida se repite una y otra vez. Saludos. |

Great! And I'll certainly remember to book a good hotel if I go there :-) When giving advice for a possible event in the future, it's more usual to use the phrase "So if you ever ..."
