If I were Noah and I had to choose 10 animal to go on the ark I would choose: A dog, lion, leopard, horse, snake, eagle, ostrich, peacock, camel, and an elefant.

This is not wrong, but personally, I would write:

If I were Noah and I had to choose 10 animals to go on the ark I would choose: A dog, a lion, a leopard, a horse, a snake, an eagle, an ostrich, a peacock, a camel, and an elephant.

(Also, if I were Noah, I would take TWO of each of these things!)  ;-)
