What kind of items do you usually take on a camping trip?

For my camping trip usually I take the following kind of items: a tent with a flysheet, a sleeping mat for isolation, an air mattress, a hammer with a lot of pegs, a universal knife for camping, a torch, my backpag, my sleeping bag, a camp stove, my vacuum flask, mineralwater with the cooler and a rope. And of corse I take a compass, but something I’m wondering: on busuu they told the compass which only points north is broken. Hmmm...no my compass works correct, he points always north and that is normal. ;-)

For my camping trip I usually carry with me....

I suggest you carry some first aid kit of medicines and do not forget mosquito repellant cream.

Friend or foe, mosquitoes are mosquitoes. I think they bite to display their affection also. And as you know they are not alones and or in pairs, they are in swarms. I remember a night in the forest where I was awake till morning.

That is a good idea...
