Do you think people should be obliged to work 65 hours a week?

To work 65 hours a week would be unreasonable. Everyone should have the possibility to spend enough time with his family and to do something as sport, make music or other things he is interested in. If people would work permanent for so long hours they would get ill. Unfortunately the stress in our present time is already now so big that a lot of people suffer from the burn out syndrom.

To work 65 hours a week would be unreasonable. Everyone should be allowed to spend enough time with their family and to do something like sport, listen to music or other things they are interested in. If people would work permanent for so long, they would fall ill. Unfortunately, a lot of people suffer from the burn out syndrome due to stressful life.

Nice try  a little harder.

To work 65 hours a week would be unreasonable. Everyone should be allowed to spend enough time with his family and to do something such as sport, to make music or to do other things he is interested in. If people would work constantly for very long hours, they would get ill. Unfortunately, the stress in our present time is already now so great that a lot of people suffer from the burn out syndrome.

Very good!

his  he :  This is difficult as there is no word in English for a single person, when the gender is not known. I think these are the options:

he or she - this is awkward

he - sexist

she - sexist

they - often used today in speech and informal writing

Sometimes you can rewrite the sentence(s) using a plural instead of a singular noun - All people should be allowed to spend enough time with their families.....

Personally, I use "they" most of the time :-)
