I have been (was) in Asia two times. I have gone (went) in Turkey both times. The Turkey is politically an european state, but is geographically in asian territory
The first time, I have gone (went) to Antalya, it is a very picturesque city near the sea. Here there are many archeological reperts from the ancient greece.
The second time, I have gone (went) to Istanbul. It is a great, beautiful and enchanting city. I remember the visit to Grand Bazaar, to Blue Mosque, to S. Sofia's Basilica and to Topkapi's Palace. These are places you must visit in Istambul.
Must I use past tense or present perfect in this piece and why?

Bravo! I've been in Asia two times (in your life)

The story is finished, so use the simple past.

"I have gone"  has got something still relevant. = I might go again.

Good story!

I concur with Cambusken, with the exception that there should be a period after Antalya, and then a new sentence.

Ciao.

I have been to Asia twice, and toTurkey both times. The Turkey is politically a European state, but it is geographically an Asian territory The first time, I went to Antalya; it is a very picturesque city near the sea. Here, there are many archeological ruins of the ancient Greeks. The second time, I went to Istanbul. It is a great, beautiful and enchanting city. I remember the visits (hai fatto più di una visita in totale) to the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, to S. Sofia's Basilica and to Topkapi's Palace. These are places you must visit in Istanbul. (Must I use the past tense or present perfect in this piece and why?)

Ben fatto.

I have been to Turkey both times, or I went to Turkey both times.  both ways are acceptable.  It is difficult to explain why, but it is like telling a story:  I have been......, the first time I went....., then I went.......

The correction from cambusken is good, and I agree with inquietud about the sentence.

Very good! :)
