My garden on the window sill is only about one square metre. There I'm drawing about two dozen culinary herbs and also some flowers, like pot marigold, maigold and Morning Glory. It is a pity that there is very little space for nice looking vegetables like scarlet runner beans, tomatoes or peppers. Because the climbers are sourrounding the whole window I'm feeling like sitting in the garden looking out of the window. I like that.

I wouldn't reccommend starting a sentence with the word "Because". Using the word "Since" would seem like a better use. Other than that, your English is very good! Well done :D

Also, when you're about to list a whole bunch of things in a sentence, use before you do.

-- Since I got misunderstood using since that way I tend to avoid it.

Is this since in the first position teporarally or causally? How to avoid mixing it up?

Also, when you're about to list a whole bunch of things in a sentence, use before you do.

-- Thank you I didn't know that. In German using : for this purpose looks rather technical.

Maybe you can give me an example of where you used the word "since" wrong? When you were misunderstood? I can try to explain how.

English tends to have some very weird rules. It's just not right to start with "Because".

Temporarily, casually.

I wouldn't say casually or temporarily. It's just a substitute. Like, another subsitute for because is, "due to".

Using it in your sentence,

Due to climbers sourrounding the whole window......

Since is- for the reason that: because.

Does that seem to help? I can try to give sentence examples if you want.

Also, the "I like that" at the end, It would seem more better as "I enjoy that", "I enjoy doing that". I'm not saying it's wrong but doesn't that seem more like a better choice?

This was one of my first exercises here.

Since I modifyed my supermini in a way that two or even three persons can sleep in it very comfortably I need no tent, pegs or air mattress. For me camping with a normal car has many advantages. You can stay wherever you succed to get there. At night you can observe the stars without to get frozen. Heavy rain or storm will not affect you and in the morning nearly nothing has to be dryed. There is enough spcace for food and water to be independent some days. A camp stove, a sleeping bag and a bagpack is all I need aditionally. Sure for some things you must go outside but this wouldn't be better with a tent.

Maybe I should have used "ever since" there.

The supermini I got from wikipedia as a sort of very small car, but it seems not to be a comon word.

Yes, due to, excellent.

And how about: As climbers are growing arround...

SInce I mentioned the climbers before, beans and morning glory, should I use an article (as in German).

Yes you are very helpful. Your hint about I like that is very welcome. In my corrections I have often problems to explain why one should use "Ich mag das" instead of "Ich liebe das". I think it is about the same difference. Not false but unusual.

Oh, it got winter in US while I was writing that. ;)

Yes lol Supermini isn't really a common word. I wouldn't rely on wikipedia so much, sometimes it isn't a good source. But the way you used "Since" in that sentence was fine, I don't understand how you could've been misunderstood. Whoever said that is wrong. When you got the car modified because it couldnt fit as much people, you can fit more now and don't need a tent, matress, etc. But yes, "Ever since" would've been fine also. You were right anyhow.

Glad it helped you out a bit! Yeah, I made a mistake like that when I wrote "Ich liebe das" XD
