There are a lot of advantages, for example the opportunity to meet new people, having a drink together and spending nice evenings. Then, you can go a round the city like a tourist, you learn at least a new language, and hopefully you also find a foreign boy/girlfriend.

You wrote well and it all makes sense, but the verbs are a bit mixed up. It is difficult English! For example in the first phrase, because you are listing the things that you can do, the verbs should be in the same form: either 'meet', 'have' and 'spend' OR 'meeting' 'having' 'spending'. (also 'spend nice evenings' is not wrong, but it's not really right either.. maybe you could use 'enjoy the evenings' instead)

In the last bit you don't need to keep using the 'you', because you are making a list and the 'you' is implied. ..you also can't use 'at least' there, the meaning doesn't really work. :)

Thousand thanks!!! Oh my god, I wrote "go a round", I'm ashamed!!

I wrote "At least" in the meaning: you learn a new language for sure, but maybe even more than one. How should I have written the sentence?

:-))

In that case you were really close!

'At least' has a slightly different meaning when you use it by itself - it's like you're saying it 'could have been worse'. That's why I took it out!

But if you change the article ('a') to a number, then it becomes what you want: "learn at least one new language". SO your sentence would be:

Then you can go around the city like a tourist, learn at least one new language and hopefully also find a foreign boy/girlfriend.
