The predominant religion in my country is the christianity (Roman catholicism), but fortunately, Brazil absorbed all the religious variety as possible. Then we are a multireligious country. Although I'm an atheist.

In my country we have orthodox crhistianity as predominant religion. Few other religions also present, but in very little percentage. During Soviet Union religion was not popular at all, so not many people do believe in it, and many are just belive because they couldn't do that back in USSR.

Also religious institute is powerful economic organization, therefore it tries to take part in national policy (in Russian Federadtion they do take part).

Good question is should religion be part of modern state? The 70 years of USSR experience shows, that state can work without religion just ok.

Excellent job!

"The predominant religion in my country is the Christianity (Roman Catholicism), but fortunately, Brazil absorbed all the as much religious variety as possible. Thus we are a multireligious country. Although I'm an atheist."

Ha, there's plenty of religious people who will try to tell you atheism is a religion too. Ai, ai, ai.

Anyhow, in English, we generally capitalize religions (even in adjective form, which I think is not done in Portuguese).

As a more stylistic comment, I think the last two sentences sound and look better as one, "...multireligions country, although I am an atheist.", but it's not wrong to keep them separate.

The predominant religion in my country is the christianity (Roman catholicism), but fortunately, Brazil has absorbed all the religious variety as possible. Thus we are a multi-religious country although I'm an atheist.

Good attempt!
