Apart from my better half, children and grandchildren, I enjoy having another close and true friend. My current pal is honest, kind, open minded and very trustworthy which is rare in people. We have been friends for over 10 year's now and the buddy has never let me down. On the contrary, my chum always stands up for me. Frankly, when we are together, we are on the same wavelength being able to catch the meaning of each other’s words at once. What is important, my lad is a skillful doctor who always cares of my health and regularly accompanies me while walking in the park. Well, it is Lucky, my little four-legged best chuck.

Great essay, Viktor.  Just a few stylistic suggestions for you to consider.  I cannot understand the very last word, however.

Yes, dogs are woderful friends indeed.  Last February, a young stray "adopted" us and has become one of the joys of our lives. Mocha is a mixed breed, a little over a year old now.  Later, I will send you some photos her.

Thanks, Keats, for the corrections. The "chuck" is a British colloquial word for "дружок". Yes, I've got your pictures and a short video about your 'surrounding world' and Mocha. They are wonderful. Thank you for them, too.

(victor what are you trying to say here?)

I think Victor you are using too many ways to say friend.  buddy, pal, chum,-- the word friend is fine. It sounds strange when you continue to use different words for the same thing. All the words that you used instead of friend, as you know, are very informal. I am glad that you have a friend like that.   By the way, your picture looks great you are getting younger all the time. Didn't you say you are  98? (я шучу) Майк

Oh, no Майк!! I'm still in my early 70s, to be exact, I'm only 8 years older than  you are in the profile.  But I hope to reach the cealing of 98, why not?                                                                                                                                  I don't satisfied with the text either, because even you couldn't catch the meaning of two words used by me there. That's Lucky (it's my doggy) and the "chuck",  a very close synonym of the word "friend". But I see now that it isn't used widely and that it would have been better to use "friend" instead of it.

Lucky sounds like a great pal to have around Victor. I'm sure that you keep each other fit.

Very good work.  Well done.

That's exactly what we exist for. Lucky and me are more that close or true friends. I 'd say, we have become bossom friends.

Thanks, Julie, for reviewing the text and perfecting it. Pity only, that I haven't got any star for this essay.

...Six days later: Shame on me! Only 3 points!  I felt much better when I had no stars for the work at all...
