The predominant religion in Austria is the catholic version of Christianity.
I grew up with all the rituals in the countryside, and I must admit, that it has a lifelong lasting effect.
Nevertheless, the people, who are addicted to the Church are diminishing year by year.

it's better to say "to go to Church" as "to be addicted  to smth" has the negative meaning

Good luck!

it has a bit of a negative meaning for me (we say: run to church), but i should not overemphasize this, so go to is probably more correct, thx
