To be honest with you I do not celebrate with this day .But I know a lot of people celebrate with this day so some of them go out for a meal and celebrate and some of them celebrate with their family at house or any special place . they may exchange the presents and say Happy new year or All best for the coming year

What do you normally do on New Year's Eve?

To be honest with you, I do not celebrate New Year's Eve. But I know a lot of people who do celebrate this day. Some of them go out for a meal and celebrate in a restaurant, and some of them celebrate with their family at home or some other place. They may exchange presents and say "Happy New Year" or Best Wishes for the Coming Year".

It's interesting that you exchange presents at the new year. That's similar to the newroz celebrations in many countries of the Middle East.
