Interviewer: So, why did you choose our company to work in?
Interviewee: I know your company well as the market leader, with a lot of innovation and a very good pipeline. Also I heard of your business rules and the good team working atmosphere. You wrote in your job description, that you need a good teamworker and guy who is enthusiastic bringing in new ideas. That is how I always liked to work, and there are my strong points, too.
So I think your company and especially this position is an excellent place to work for me and I d be grateful to bring me in.
Interviewer: Thanks for the detailed answer. Tell me something about the projects you were responsible for in your last job.
Interviewee: ....
Interviewer: Ok, I see. You already mentioned your strong points, Are there areas where you see the need of training, or where you wish to improve your knowledge and/ or performance?
...
At this point I make because this is getting a bit too long otherwise. :-) Of course one should talk about some points of the curriculum vitae , about why the interviewee leaves his former employee, and what he thinks about his salary, if he is flexible where to live and how much to travel, and when he can start to work. To ask for his family situation and to know a little bit about his hobbies can´be wrong, too, to complete the image.
