What's the weather like?

What's the weather like? I know that it's winter but without snow .The last few days the weather (was) very changeable and has brought snow tonight. I stood and looked out the window of my apartment as snow flakes f(e)ll down to the ground. I could not stop myself to not go outside (and) to feel cold snow flakes on my face (with) scratchy snow under my boots. I went for a little evening stroll (and) admired beautifully looking streets, home gardens and evergreen vegetation covered with soft down light snow though for the moment. At this moment I feel a great joy ,peace and purity, everything is so simple.    GREAT JOB

I went for a little evening stroll, I admiring beautifully looking/admiring the beautful streets, home gardens, and evergreen  trees covered with soft, downy, light snow though for the moment.At this moment I feel a great joy; everything is so simple, pure and peaceful.

Just a couple of small things for comment:

Verb tenses. Keep to one tense in a sentence.

beautifully - adverb, describes a verb. He spoke that beautifully.

beautiful - adjective, describes a noun. His speech was beautiful.

I'm sure you know all this, and it was just a slip up ! :-))
