On the first picture, there is a child in a swimming-pool as a result I think this is summer. It's hot !
On the second, there is flowers and in the sky there is few cloud yet, so it's maybe spring. There are nice colours.
On the last one, there is a snowman and on the trees there are lot of snow ! It's very cold !!!

'as a result' was ok, but 'so' is simpler - always take the simple option!
