Faith and Religion

As every student of the Italian language knows,that the predominant religion in Italy is Catholicism. Unlike Hinduism, Catholicism is a monotheist religion. The place of Catholic worship is the church where the sacred texts (gospels ) are read out by the priest during a ceremony called Mass. For each day of the week he reads a different gospel. I think I live in a Godless town , because there are only 80 followers in my local church attending Mass on Sunday. It looks like my religion is strictly connected to the fear of death. Where is everyone on Sunday mornings?Where are all the couples that got married in a church? Most of my friends declare to believe in God but the number of times they have been inside a church is a sum equal to their age plus one but alas only if they are married. Perhaps we have an unsuitable pope? I don't know. Luckily the churches in my town are full of old and young people on Christmas night.

Where are every Sunday morning all the couples that had marriage inside a church every Sunday morning?
