My father is retired so that he doesn't need a briefcase and he never wears a bow-tie. I think it's the best desicion to buy him the keyring. Perhaps I give him something else and procure a watch.

My father is retired so he doesn't need a briefcase anymore, and I wouldn't buy him a bow-tie because he never wore one to go to work. I think the best decision is to buy him a keyring or a watch. |

My father is retired so 'Procure' is actually correct but we'd never say it - it's far too formal. You could even leave out 'get him' in the last sentence above, but I included it to show how 'get' can be used in a normal way. |
