For example in Colombia we always eat arepa for breakfast "Mmmmmmmmmmm it's delicious jejejeje but only for us Colombians jejeje I have a foreign friend who does not like arepa.

mmmmmm expectacular my friend arepa is traditional in Colombia . We grind the corn and then do a mass with this and make a ball and put it very thin and put it in the stove with butter is delicious es muy tipico en Sur america

In fact, they altered the plural "are" to "is". I believe that most English speakers would write,,, (one advantage) The advantage is X. (multi advantages) The advantages are X,Y and Z. |

Here is my try… The advantages of studying abroad are that, by living there, you begin to understand another society’s cultures and its traditions. For example, in Colombia, we always eat arepa for breakfast mmmmmmmmmmm. It is delicious jejejejej but it for us only jejejj. I have foreign friends and they don't like it.
(I would love to come for breakfast and try it!)
