The five tones in Chinese are:
The first tone: the voice remains in a medium pitch.
The second tone(Rise): the voice rises during the word from a medium to a high pitch.
The third tone(Fall-Rise): the voice first falls from a medium to a very low pitch, and then, still in the word, rises to a medium pitch.
The forth tone(Fall): the voice falls during the word from a medium to a low pitch.
The light tone: the voice remains in a medium pitch, but the word reads in a soft voice.
