The family grows

My ideal in-laws are very friendly people, who respect us as a couple and our rules and decisions about how to raise our children, and our decisions about life.
I hope that my mother-in-law, would be like a friend to me, someone who could tell me the things that her son likes, such as food, hobbies, and things he has never told me about that would make him happy. Also, I would appreciate it if she would teach me how to cook his favorite dish of food and, maybe, give some advice about marriage.
