Do you think that being a parent is different today from being a parent 100 years ago?

I think that in the general sense to be a parent nowadays and to be a parent one hundred years ago it is the same things. Certainly the life is changing: a rhythm of life, an increase the flows of information, the conditions and the circumstances, an environment etc. But in my oppinion the main role of any parent is to bring up from a little child to a good man.
