In the picture appears a couple with their Good job! The only thing I would suggest is working on punctuation. For example, if I wrote "Eu sou alta, eu sou magra, eu gosto de comer." The vocabulary is correct but in English we would call this a run- on- sentence. A sentence which is composed of a subject and verb is called an independent clause. When you have one or more independent clauses put together, they need to be combined with some type of conjunction for example: Eu sou alta, e eu sou magra. (Subject+verb+adjective, conjunction+ subject+verb+adjective) You could also use a semi-colon to connect two independent clauses with similar information. For example, "The daughter is so cute; she is blonde." We would not say, "The daughter is so cute; the car is driving down the street." Last thing: Check out this website, http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2011/05/the-words-blond-and-blonde-are-not-wholly-synonymous/. It explains the difference between "blonde" (feminine) and "blond" (masuline). Most people don't usually pay attention to the difference, but you may run across both spellings. Hope this helps :D |

How would I write the information that you wrote? I suppose I would write it like this: This seems/appears to be a picture of a couple with their children. The mother is happy. She a red head (this is the only time you use this term...you can say "that person is a red head", but never with other colors of hair. For example, we don't say "He is a blond-head" or "She is a brown head") with long hair; she is wearing jeans and a white t-shirt. The father is smiling like the mother. Their daugher is blonde and very cute. The son is younger (unless you mean strictly physical size, younger would be more appropriate here) than the daughter. He is also very cute/ The son also has a cute face. He is wearing a red t-shirt. They are all (I put "They are all" so that way if someone was reading this without looking at the picture, they would know that the entire family is sitting on the grass - not just the kids or the parents.)sitting on the grass and seem to be extremely happy. It's a beautiful family! |
