I feel more identified with the last picture. All this fashion and haute couture are very far from me. I rather prefer simple clothes. I think there is no reason to dress up just like the rest of the people believe is cool only to feel like fashionable. Take a look at what was fashionable 20 years ago and check how silly you might feel following the actual trends.

I identify more with the last picture.  All this fashion craze is not for me.  I prefer simple clothes.

There is no reason to dress like everybody else just to think you are cool.  Take a look at what was fashionable 20 years ago and check out how silly you might feel following these trends.

Franek - Very good,  although I am not sure what you are actually trying to say.  Some of the fashions today were about 30 years ago and they are here again and people are wearing them!

It makes more sense to an American reader if you say " I identify more with...". I would not use rather in the second sentence. The third sentence needs to be reworded, perhaps something like "I do not think there is a reason to dress fashionably just to impress others." I would change "check" to see.

Also, I agree with your feelings. I have never been one to follow fashion and while I tend to dress "nice" compared to some of my friends, it is not fahionable, it is just what I am comfortable in.

I hope this helps you.
