I do not know (I'm not sure) if (whether) the above question is correct. In my opinion, the following sentences will be correct: How did you get your last job? or How did you find your last job? I can imagine that I can use these sentences interchangeably.
------------------------------------------
Before I answer the question on my last job I have to admit that I never got a job by knowing people but always by and through my own strengths.
And now, to answer a question.
First, I found a job ad on the Internet.
Afterwards, I made sure that I met all the requirements.
I researched the most important information on the firm on the Internet .
I wrote a truthful resume and cover letter.
I sent my application documents to the e-mail address given on the website in the advertisement for the job.
I prepared for the interview.
I read about chemical issues associated with the work regarding the position I applied for.
I filled in gaps in my knowledge of the chemistry of surfactants.
Perhaps 2 weeks later I received a phone call for an interview.
When I arrived at the interview, I was dressed simply but elegantly and without makeup.
I gave witty, clever, and to-the-point answers.
In a timely fashion, I was invited for a follow-up interview with the company director, who told me that I had the job. At the end of the meeting, we discussed my salary requirements.
I am currently self-employed, but in a few months I want to try to fight for a job.
Please wish me luck, because there is high of unemployment in Poland.
I hope I'll get my dream job someday.
At the end of my essay, I have to admit that my current boss has taught me a lot about myself. Even though she has been my biggest critic, she has been also my biggest fan:) She still uses the carrot and the stick approach.

In English, you should almost always use a comma before the word "but" and almost never before the word "because."

GREAT WORK!  This is one of your best essays yet (although perhaps not as entertaining as the movie script about the office supply revolt) - lots of adverbs and compound sentences, and well punctuated.  Nearly all my "corrections" are simply suggestions.

It is one approach, not two, hence "the carrot and stick" approach.  Small changes here and there. The organization of the essay is logically laid out (wylozona). Good luck, indeed.

The word “practice” is a word that describes doing an activity repeatedly in order to  become more skillful at it. The word “train” can be used to describe learning new skills for your job or putting your body into very good physical condition in order to be an athlete such as a boxer.

Practice is associated with a specific activity, with bettering one's performace of a specific activity through repetition of that activity. You practice playing the piano by playing the piano. You practice catching a football by catching a football. Training is more general and involves other aspects of conditioning.

Training usually involves another person giving you instructions on how to do something better or it may involve special equipment that is not actually used in the performance of the ultimate action.
