I guess most English speakers would say I have "a brother" rather than "one brother". However, this question enquires about the number of brothers and sisters there are. A perfectly correct answer would be, "I have two sisters and one brother". In the answer you gave, "one" is not wrong...but it is the less used of the two options. |
