I am ambitious and I have a strong personality as well as leadership qualities.

One of my strong points is the innate ability to make decisions. Furthermore I am a good team player and I have the ability to work under pressure. My weak point is that I have problems with driving a car (or: I am not a good driver).

I appreciated/liked the spirit of teamwork.

I would say I am determined /focused instead as "I have a strong personality" might sound like you are a difficult person.:-)
