Secondo me, non ci sono dei treni qui in Messico.
Ma, mi piacerebbe di viaggiare in treno, suona divertente.

Credo che non ci siano dei treni qui, in Messico.

Tuttavia, mi piacerebbe viaggiare in treno, suona/sembra divertente.

Good job!

I think that there is not a short Italian expression to translate literally the English "it sounds + adjective" referred to an idea, an expectation or something like that (in your phrase I guess you translated "it sounds amazing" into Italian).

We usually say "suona bene" or "suona male" referring to something actually heard. For example: Dire che qualcosa "suona divertente" suona male, direi piuttosto che qualcosa "sembra divertente", così suona meglio.

I hope you will not get confused!

Thanks for the explanation. No, I won´t get confused, indeed this is better for me. I wanted to say: It sounds funny like I´d say in spanish, of course maybe that´s my biggest mistake, trying to translate something literally from one to another language, in spanish doesn´t sound like a mistake, but maybe this depends on not knowing some tipical  expression. So, thank you so much, this is very helpful for me!

I learnt from you that there's a Spanish expression corresponding to the English one :)

Thank you, too!
